Remain is an American rock band from Denton, TX. The band played its first show at the Labb in Denton on August 16, 2014. Since then, Remain has honed an anthemic, glorious sound that is both deep-rooted and fresh.

In the Fall of 2015, Remain were introduced to Grammy-award-winning producer/engineer Eric Delegard, and recorded their debut EP The World Beyond at Reeltime Audio in Denton, TX.

By early 2016, the band secured management by signing with Robert Speed Productions and The World Beyond went on to have singles featured on local stations DentonRadio.com as well as 97.1 The Eagle. The single "Speed" was featured on The Deuce Radio Shows throughout the UK, and was later featured on multiple radio shows in Europe, Australia, and North America.

In the Summer of 2017 Remain released the single "Millennial Nation" which was picked up by Bongo Boy Records and included on the compilation album Alternative Rock Mach One. In conjunction with their first label release, Remain was named by The Dentonite as one of “Denton's 15 Music Acts Making Moves in 2018.

At the onset of 2019, Remain underwent a lineup change and committed to redefining the sound and direction of the band. Most of 2019 was spent, funding, writing, rehearsing, demoing songs, regrouping the band lineup, and finally returning to Reeltime Audio in Oct. 2019 to complete their first full-length effort entitled Millennial Nation.

The Millennial Nation album was set to be released in April 2020 but was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It was officially released in the Fall of 2021, and it went on to receive positive reviews including local features by The Denton Record Chronicle and Shoutout DFW as well as national press across North America and the United Kingdom.

By the Fall of 2022, Remain had solidified the lineup, was gaining the attention of indie labels, and had secured a spot at SXSW 2023. In late 2023, Remain signed with New York indie label A Diamond Heart Production and released the single 'Season of Youth' through ADHP in 2024.

“It takes time,” reflected Remain front man and founding member Caleb Coonrod. “Those early years were full of lows, failures, struggles to find and retain band members, reasons to quit, and just a few small wins,” he said grinning. “Starting a band is easy, forming a band is difficult. With a name like Remain you’ve just got to keep forming and not quit.”

Things seen are temporary, only unseen things will Remain.
